Today I have the honour of talking about graphics. My weekly news post crunching has been made a lot easier, because I can just show some awesome images and pretend I know what is going on in there.

The last couple of days we sat around the table with our artist to talk about how we want our final graphics style to look like. The game is very colourful right now, which is not exactly what we are looking for. The sprites have not changed a lot, but we added some highlights to most ships, which we enhance even more by a nice post-processing shader. The final result will look something like this:

We are still working on some more interesting graphical features and we are hoping to show you more of them as we make more progress. That does not mean we are not working on other things as well though. We are also making some large changes to important code that supports the current gameplay, which will allow for even more interesting stages in the game. So keep an eye on this very spot for more bananas.
