The red and green enemies have always belonged to the most hated. After adding some new red enemies, the green enemies were next. Earlier you could already read about the design of the greens. With the design being so complete and explicit, it becomes really easy to actually implement the behaviour. As the designed behaviours are very similar to the old green behaviour, a lot of code could be reused. This allowed me to implement most of the core behaviour in a single afternoon.
This doesn't mean the enemies are done yet. The meatshields still have to programmed (they look a bit boring right now, as you can see below), there is a lot of balancing to be done and we need some more variation in the weapons they can use, but for now they are really interesting to play around with. In a few days, our closed beta players will get their hands on this and we will find out if they feel the same, or if I finally reached my goal where they will throw their computers out of the window.
